About the band
Since 2008 unfortunately KANE does not exist anymore. But founded in 1998 the band existed for 10 years, hat plenty of gigs and two great CDs. As we started the website because of KANE and it was majorly about the band, we will not throw out all the information or any of the news, interviews and other stuff we collected throughout our time here.
Although there are no more news coming up, here is how KANE kept us busy while running this website ;)
Okay, guys.
We had this question coming up more frequently so we put some effort in finding the answers ;)
The KANE Debut album will not be back in stock anytime, soon. It has sold out and no more copies will be pressed until further notice. Chances are rather high, that it won't be back at all but there's still hoping...
The KANE Accoustic live in London is currently still for sale but if you want to buy it, you better be quick. As soon as that CD is sold out the above mentioned case is applicable here as well. No more for a long time, if ever.
So better run off to the MXmerch.com store and grab your copy before they're gone.
Hey ya'll!
We don't know yet if that's the big news Christian announced on his blog, but it's great news for all you americans anyway ;)
Christian will be playing a five song set in the Rutledge, Nashville on March, 3rd at 6pm.
According to the newsletter Christian will be joined for the small set by Jason Southard and Jimmie Lee Sloans (producer) and he will be performing some songs from the new album which (what a surprise *lol*) will be out, soon.
Unfortunately Steve won't be joining them as he had something else up already and couldn't change on short notice.
The concert is for free so if you have a chance, go there and show Columbia how much Christian is loved supported by his fans! Show them that Kane fans really are the best fans of the world ;)
Seems like the single will be out in April. But I might have gotten that wrong ;)
Some of you might already know the songs they put online just a couple minutes ago. It's "Different Kinda Knight" and "Let's take a drive". Go there and listen...it's worth it!!!
Chris also put up a new smoke signal. To get there just follow the second link.
Yeah, that's an old one, but still it is worth mentioning, that both London gigs were sold out in the end.
Stay tuned for reports ;)
And if any of you want to send in reports on the convention or the gigs or pictures, please let us know. We would gladly upload some stuff.
Just a short Hello from London. The guys are just amazing!! The convention in Blackpool was fantastic and the first two shows just rocked!!!!! We took a bunch of pics which we will post online as soon as we are back home. Tomorrow we will be in Brighton! If anyone has the time and possibility to come over there too....DO THAT!!!! They are soooo worth it!!! We are having A blast here.
A full report and the pics are coming soon...
Thanks to MySpace we can have a look at the first pictures from Chris' new movie "Hide" now. We uploaded them to the Screenshots in the fans-section.
Very promising!
Now we have a confirmation. The MySpace is the right one, but only Tom, the singer of Greenwich Resident will be in Liverpool for the gig.
There is no MySpace for his Solo performance which is why we kept the link to the band. Tune in, at least you get an idea and hear his voice.
Again very plain: The full band is NOT going to play that evening.
The latest news. Looks like the special Guest for Brighton finally got announced. This time it's a female singer. Her name is Alice Shaw. Genre: Accoustik/Pop/Soul.
We also found her MySpace. Link on the Tourdates page as usual.
Furthermore it looks like there will be another Special Guest on the gig in Liverpool. Name: Greenwich Resident, Genre: Rock/Indie/Others.
We found a MySpace, too but cannot tell for sure that we found the right site.
We linked to that MySpace with a questionmark and certainly will keep you posted as soon as we find out more about this.
Right guys. We managed to resolve some open questions about the gigs in Camden and Liverpool:
David Arthur was so nice to answer us and confirm that he will actually be playing on both dates in London. Yet still Niall Quinn will also be playing in Camden so we are looking at two guests there.
Furthermore Mark Delany was very helpful and nice, too about the thing with the band or only him playing on the gig in Liverpool. He devinitely won't bring the band along. So it's not Mojave Collective playing in the Barfly but actually him as solo musician. Probably he'll bring his guitarist, but that's not for sure yet.
He would have loved to come and play with the band but as KANE are accoustic gigs, the people from Barfly wanted the guests be accoustic, too.
So. This one's answered, too.
By the way: there are only a couple of tickets left for the gig in Camden, London. So go and buy, before they're sold out!
Looks like the guys already found a special guest for their show in Liverpool. Barfly announced Mark Delaney alongside KANE on their official site.
