Description:
David Dailey has everything: He makes his career with his own radio talkshow, has plenty of friends and is married to a beautiful woman. But appearances are deceiving and under the façade of a perfect life problems are simmering. Susan, his wife seems not quite happy with their sexlife and is cheating on David which he only finds out because an obsessive fan is bugging him with strange letters. Besides: His assistant Whit seems to zero in on his job. Other than that David feels more and more attracted to another woman whom he trusts instinctively because she doesn't know him well enough to betray him.
When Melody and David get to know each other a little better they find that they have a lot of things in common especially their belief that both of them are followed by a stalker. The man who is loved by everyone all of a sudden is afraid that someone wants to destroy him and suddenly David has to realise: The biggest danger for someone who has everything is the loss of it all.
Christian Kane in this movie:
Christian is playing Sean Voight, a young man who thinks he can buy everything with money. Him and Melody are an item and he tries his best to show her that he's the best guy out there, the one she wants to marry. This reaches a state where he follows each and every step she takes to fulfill her wishes.
Christian not only looks adorable in this movie. A big bonus in Keep your distance is certainly the fact that Sean even starts his own band and pays to play a gig in a bar to schmooze Melody. In this movie the band performs a song (Standing right in front of you), a dream for everyone also being a fan of Christian's singing.

Nightmarish Hunt 
The movie is great. It's a shame that KYD wasn't promoted in Germany (and other countries outside the states) and is only available on DVD on amazon.com. The leading actors and actresses totally convince in their roles, the movie stays thrilling until the end and it is hard to predict the plot twists as the audience mainly knows and sees what David knows and sees.
A movie you probably wanna watch again.
