Ok, lets start with some fantastic news posted by KANE & BrandXmanagement on MySpace:

Hey all. Sorry for being away so long. After some wonderful dates in England and Germany in the early summer, KANE have been focusing on writing and recording for a new CD. As you know, you can hear some demos that might end up on that CD on MySpace at www.myspace.com/kanecountry. While you may have seen Chris or Steve pop up on stage various places the last few months, we've been laying low for the most part. That will soon be changing.

First off, KANE will be playing a special Acoustic Evening with some friends in LA at the historic Whisky A Go-Go on October 14th. Check out our website gigs page for info.

Secondly, we are going to be ramping up as we get ready for a new CD. That means merch reorder, more online info and pics, etc.

KANE around the World
One thing we would like to do is create a KANE Around the World gallery for the website. We need your help. Please send us your pictures from your home city or country that in some way feature KANE. For example, you might have yourself in a KANE t-shirt in front of the Taj Mahal in India if you lived in India. We will collect these and display the best of them on our website. Please send these to kaneteamers@aol.com.

KANE Banner Contest Update
Finally, we had mentioned in a MySpace bulletin that we need your help creating a banner for both the KANE website at www.kanemusic.com and the KANE MySpace at www.myspace.com/kanecountry. We received some really great entries, but still have not found exactly what we want. Here are some guidelines we should have mentioned before. 1. We'd like the banners to utilize the KANE logo but not feature any of the band members photos or likenesses. 2. We do want to stay with the theme of the band KANE, country music, and everything the band's music stands for. If you would like to re-enter the contest using those guidelines, we would love to receive some more new banner designs. Please send these to kaneteamers@aol.com .

LATEST NEWS

We plan to announce our release date for North America fairly soon. We'll let everyone know once the date has been confirmed. As for foreign distribution, the film has already been released in France, Australia, and South Africa. We expect to learn foreign release dates soon for Italy, Spain, Japan, Russia, Brazil, Portugal, etc. We've made 22 foreign distribution deals thus far!

Our actors are doing some really cool projects:

Estella Warren
Recently completed principal photography on "Irreversi" in Hong Kong.

Christian Kane
Currently shooting "Hide" in Argentina. Recently won a Special Jury Prize at the Phoenix Film Festival for his performance in "Her Minor Thing." Congrats, Chris!

Michael Weatherly
"NCIS" returns this fall. The show had a great season last year, often finishing in the top ten in the ratings. TV Guide chose Michael as one of "TV's Sexiest Men" for 2006. No surprise there!

Rachel Dratch
Currently shooting the feature film "Spring Breakdown" (she stars and exec produces). Has a starring role this fall in the new NBC sitcom "30 Rock," along with Tina Fey.

Kathy Griffin
EMMY NOMINATION for her series on Bravo! Big article and photo in Newsweek. Appearance on "Larry King Live." Way to go, Kathy!

Flex Alexander
Can be seen in one of the most-anticipated films of the year, "Snakes on a Plane." Also co-stars in the romantic comedy "The List" with Wayne Brady.

Ivana Milicevic
Appears this fall as one of the new Bond girls in the James Bond film "Casino Royale."

Victoria Jackson
Recently completed production of "Midnight Clear," a Christmas movie starring Stephen Baldwin.
